8 Months

It amazes me how fast the months go by. The twins are now 8 months old and I feel like they have changed so much.
Ann Marie sits up so well now! She is pulling up on EVERYTHING!! And yesterday she started to point with her pointer finger.

Ann Marie pretty much takes everything from her brother...
Colton is crawling on his belly really fast now! He also LOVES the water!
The pool or bath he can't get enough!
I took the twins to see the Jordan kids! It's so much fun to see the twins I watched for almost 10 years hold my twins!
Mom sent me all these pictures of Ann Marie one day while I was at work.
GiGi had a mini photo shoot! :)

We went to visit the Muchnick fam! I am so thankful to have Natalie close by. Some days I just need a mom of multiples to share life with. The precious triplets are growing so fast! Hope and Ann Marie sure have their brothers beat weight wise. Colton kept crawling towards Hope and Ann Marie wouldn't leave William alone. Lord help us in the years to come. :)

My mom and I took the twins to Brixx one night for dinner. They did soo good! I was so impressed and encouraged that we could do it!
Clay sent me this text from the Thrift Store of this mirror. It was $10. I really wanted a bigger cork board for all our save the dates and baby announcements. For Mother's Day Clay said he would make me one for our kitchen. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!!
He added some wood to the right side to make it look like a window.

This weekend is Memorial Day Weekend! So of course I had to dress the Twins patriotic.

We played outside for a little bit...
Our first day in the pool. They loved it!!

There are days I feel overwhelmed and WAY over my head with all that is on my plate. Then I realize there are soo much I have to be thankful for. I started everyday listing some of my blessings. It really helps to put things in perspective. God has truly blessed us and I am thankful for all I am given. Especially the opportunity to be a wife to Clay and a mom to my precious twins!!

7 1/2 Months

I have heard the phrase "The days are long but the years are short" when referring to growing children. I now know there is truth in those words. These last seven months have flown by, but yet the days seem to never end sometimes.

Tomorrow is Mother's Day. Though last year I was already a "mother" (I think I was around 20 weeks), this year it's different being able to actually hold my sweet babies. Being a mother is awesome and a great blessing. There are days it's extremely hard and VERY tiring. These last few weeks especially have testing my nerves. Having the twins starting to crawl and move all around has started a whole new game for me. There are days I feel so trapped at home because we can't really get out and about without a big production. The small moments when Colton laughs at Ann Marie or when Ann Marie reaches for me makes all the stress and exhaustion worth it. I wouldn't trade these days for anything.

This little guy is still only on the 2nd percentile for weight. The doc said I need to fatten up his food. :) Clearly he doesn't take after his daddy!! Current weight 14lbs 14oz

This precious girl is pulling up and standing!!
It's blowing my mind how fast she is growing and changing.

Great Grandparents came to visit!! The twins loved having some additional arms to love on them for a few days! We will see them again soon for all the wedding festivities.

We tried bathing the twins together in the seats.. it wasn't a success so we went back to the baby bath tub for now..
Excuse me Colton..

We got back the wonderful pictures from Hayley Jo Photography

"He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying." Matthew 28:6

What an awesome thing to celebrate! This morning I prayed that the twins will come to know and love Jesus as their personal savior. I went to church with my mom and grandma last night, and a brother and sister were baptized. I couldn't help but think how awesome that would be to see my children baptized on the same day. I can't wait to see the plans God has for the twins.

Here's some pictures from the last few days:

We had a visit from sweet friends. Andrea and Andrew brought Hannah Rae to meet the twins on their way through town!

 Favorite out take picture ever!!

So fun sharing life stories with this sweet friend!!
Mini- Nicki & Mini- Andrea BFF already :)

Someone figured out the bumpers can move to see mommy and bubbie on the floor.
Someone also found out how to crawl under the bed.
I love me a polo baby!!
Great Aunt Sheila is really special- she used to watch me as a baby!
 Melts my heart every time!
